Remedies for Dry Skin Blemishes and Red SpotsHaving blemishes and red spots on the skin can make you feel embarrassed and self-conscious. These breakouts at times leave bad-looking scars behind, making you look nasty and unappealing.

However there are treatments that can help you get rid of these ugly marks. Some of the effective homemade treatments for reddened, irritated skin are given here. Give them a go if you are struggling to get healthy, glowing skin back.

Natural Oil + Baking Soda
Since blemishes and redness can be a result of excessive oil production or a bacterial infection, so when you have blemishes, you need a product that can relieve skin redness, clear-up oil and kill bacteria. The question here is that how do one can get a product with all these properties? By mixing up baking soda with peppermint, tea tree or lavender oil. With its itch-relieving properties, baking soda can help combating dry skin and redness. First prepare a paste of baking soda with water and then add a few drops of the preferred oil to this mixture. Apply the treatment to the infected skin and see the wonders it can work for your skin.

Oatmeal
Another purely natural treatment for relieving redness and reducing red spots is oatmeal. It contains a substance beta glucan which leaves behind a moisture retaining film that is good for human skin. For using oatmeal as red-spots treatment, place a handful of oats in a washcloth and secure them with a clear elastic. Dip the oats-containing bag in warm water and squeeze to extract beta glucan. Once the water is cloudier, wash your face with this potion and let it air dry. You will surely notice a remarkable improvement in your skin condition afterward.

Apple Cider Vinegar
While this remedy can be a bit stinky, its skin-clearing pros are worthwhile. A potion prepared mixing parsley, apple cider vinegar and tea-tree oil is great for clearing blemishes. Start by adding a moderate amount of parsley to half cup boiling water in a French press, letting the water steep for ten minutes. Add some ACV and 4 drops of tea-tree oil to the mixture after collecting it in a hygienic spray bottle. Shake the mixture well and then use to treat blemishes.
