The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a moving visit to the Commonwealth war graves cemetery at their last participation in Singapore today.

The royal couple laid a wreath on behalf of the Queen and Prince Philip in the Kranji Memorial, located on a quiet sun bathed hill high above the bustling city.

The Duke and Duchess arrived at the sound of Gurkha Contingent Pipers and were given a beautiful wreath of red roses, white lilies and orchids.

It includes a message from the grandmother of William, which read: “In Memory of the Glorious Dead Elizabeth and Philip R”.
