Water Therapy: water is the strongest and the most affective trick to beat the heat, nothing works better than water during summer, you need to keep your skin and your body hydrated and for that you should drink as much water as much possible, and it will help you flush out the toxins and waste that accumulate in the body and damage your skin from inside out, keep pushing fluids like fruit juices, coconut water, green tea, buttermilk or just plain water  and it will help you keep good and well groomed skin from inside out.

Food Intake: I understand that we all love fast food and we do get craving for fried and other take away foods during the summer, but the issues is it is not healthy for you and not for your body specially during summer since it can actually ruin your oil gland system and it will either promote unhealthy excessive production or it start getting stored in your body and will start making you fat, so eat healthy and natural foods, specially the salads and other natural eatables, try to eat those foods which carry water naturally and it will help you get better system and will keep you hydrated form inside out and one thing that I always say with water, when you start using water, you have to reduce the use of salt, this is a absolutely wrong combination.

Sunscreen: sunrays are sharp and our skin is so sensitive and super delicate to face these harsh rays, so you need to make sure you are protecting your skin from all of these rays, always apply a sunscreen which contains high SPF, 30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and I would say wash your face with chilled water and mild soap and pat dry it and then apply sunscreen and let your skin absorb it and then go out, use cotton gloves and cover your body as much as possible, carry a specially designed umbrella to avoid sunrays and keep sipping plain water to keep the water balance in your body and your skin, and when you get back, wash your face with warm water and use muslin cloth to rub over your skin and then splash chilled water all over your face.

Exfoliate: summer is a very dangerous weather, it increase the oil production in skin and then dust get stuck on then skin and clog the pours which is start of whiter and blackheads, so exfoliation is very important for your skin, you should clean your skin with alum powder every day, no matter what kind of skin you have, it work for you, and use mild skin scrubber three times a week and it will not only clean your skin, but will help you get better skin too.

Cleansing: -cleaning is very important for your skin, you should keep your skin clean as much as possible, I personally think that you should not use too much cosmetic during the summer, it will just make thing worse, keep washing your face with muslin cloth and warm water three to four times a week and follow a  proper Cleanse routine, I normally feel natural things are better to clean and exfoliate and toning, but if you want ready to use things then make sure they are mild and not too harsh for your skin.

Moisturize: – Even if you have oily skin, you should use moisturizer for your skin according to your skin tone and if you are not happy with any moisturizer then try cucumber and Aloe Vera gel, the best moisturizer possible and if you want double impact then try honey/yogurt/egg whites or essential oils, but you need to keep your skin moisturizer and supple.

Steaming: – steam is your best friend for summer, it will help you open clogged pores and remove all the dirt that has accumulated in the skin and it make your skin clearer and softer and works well for all skin types, but don’t use it more than 2 times a week, and if you taking perfect care for your skin then once a week is absolutely fine.
