Home Remedies for Dry, Callused FeetDry, callused feet can be uninviting and even hurting. There are a number of factors that contribute in bringing about calluses and dryness. However, regardless of their underlying cause, callused feet can be cured using home remedies. A few effective home fixes of dry feet are given below.

Baking Soda Soak

One of the most effective home treatments of callused feet which is also recommended by many dermatologists as a quick fix is baking soda soak. Prepare this soothing solution by mixing half cup of baking soda in a gallon of warm water and stirring well to dissolve baking soda fully. Dunk your feet in the solution and wait for half an hour. Take your feet out, rinse, dry and apply lotion. This will leave your feet feeling amazingly clean and very soft.

Salicylic Acid Solution

Hair products with salicylic acid in them are devised specifically to tackle dandruff and other dry scalp conditions, and home cures involving the use of salicylic acid may prove highly effectual in getting rid of dead cells and calluses.

If you are experiencing dry, callused feet, buy a hair product containing salicylic acid and apply it over your feet. Leave on for sometime and then wash off you feet as usual. At the end apply a generous amount of foot cream or lotion and don a pair of clean, cotton socks to hold in moisture. You feet would feel much softer after undergoing this treatment.

Vinegar Soak

A potion created by mixing adequate quantities of lukewarm water, dish-washing liquid and white vinegar is another highly benefiting remedy to help those excessively dry feet. Simply soak your feet in this remedial solution and let them sit for almost thirty minutes before rinsing as usual. After rinsing, pat your feet dry and apply your standard moistening lotion allover your feet, getting them into sock right away.
