Indian rape victim, who was flown to Singapore further treatment, is “fighting for her life” at a Singapore hospital, doctors say. She was flown to Singapore from New Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital where she was under treatment since she was assaulted on a bus on December 16.
Recently, NDTV reports that ‘Amanat’ has brain injury and she is ‘struggling against odds,’ say Singapore doctors. The gang-rape has outraged India’s otherwise apathetic middle class against the increasing lack of safety for women in the nation’s cities.

He wrote further, “Wat about violence used by police? Wat about false promises? Wat about the Horrific rape? It is Frustration & Helplessness.”
Tajinder Pal S Bagga, a Twitter user demanded to send rappists to Saudi Arab for punishment becuase he think that India has no power to do this. He wrote, “Rape Victim sent to singapore for better treatment. Why the rapist has not been sent to saudian republic for better punishment….. Ultimately our government is obligged to provide better support to the natives in case he is not able to do so.”
